Adobe plant einen vollwertigen Flash-Client für Windows Mobile und Android zu Entwickeln. Auch wäre ein Client für das iPhone möglich, Apple zeige allerdings noch kein Interesse.
Adobe hat auf seiner jährlichen Max Konferenz eine Kooperation mit ARM angekündigt. Ziel ist es, einen vollwertigen Flash-Client, basierend auf dem aktuellen Flash 10, für mobile Geräte zu entwickeln. Zunächst soll der Client für Windows Mobile und Android entwickelt werden. Neben Flash will Adobe auch einen passenden AIR-Client entwickeln, so dass sich AIR-Anwendungen auch auf mobilen Geräten verwenden lassen.

Es gibt zwei neue interessante Artikel zum Thema Packaging für Series 40 Geräte.
Grundsätzlich wird nur ein zip-File erstellt, welches das swf-File, ein Icon-PNG (43 x 43Px) und eine inf-Textdatei. In dieser Textdatei stehen folgende Einträge:
FL-Version: *version* (1.1/2.0)

FL-Root: *.swf
Wenn die Datei heruntergeladen wurde, erscheint das Preview Icon und der eingestellte Titel.
So bietet sich eine sehr komfortable Methode, die swf-Files auszuliefern. Deutlich besser als ein “nacktes” SWF.

Einem Blog ist zu entnehmen, dass Samsung ab Oktober eine Plattform für Entwickler startet.
Ähnlich wie bei Nokias Remote Device Access kann hier Content auf neuen Samsung Geräten getestet werden.
Unter anderem interessant, weil die S60 Samsung Geräte alle auch Flash Lite unterstützen sollen - namentlich sind das die Geräte:
SGH-G810, SGH-i450, SGH-i550, SGH-i560, SGH-i550w, GT-I8510 und SGH-L870 (vielleicht auch SGH-i400, SGH-i520, SGH-i570)
Leider konnte ich nicht wirklich herausbekommen, welche FL Player Version auf den Geräten installiert ist (vermutlich ist es aber die Version 1.1).
